- What vaccinations must my pet have? > Current rabies and kennel cough/ Bordetella. We keep initial records on file and they must be updated every 6-12 months. *Rabies can ONLY be administered by a vet. We can administer the kennel cough/ Bordetella. However, its in your dog's best interest to receive it several days in advance, at minimum - What if my dog is not fixed or in heat? > No problem! We exercise caution and take many factors into consideration at turn out times. - What if my dog is not used to other dogs or not friendly with other dogs? > All dogs are assigned a social rating upon their first visit. Personalities are taken into consideration in the handling of all of our guests, as well as with their contact with other dogs. - What can be done for nervous parents (pet owners)? > We are more than happy to send photo and video updates via text while your pet stays with us. - What should I bring with my pet? > The only NECESSITY is vaccination records. We provide food, however most bring their own to avoid changing the dogs' diet. You may also bring a blanket, toy, and treats if you wish. Bowls are not necessary as each kennel has its own. - Can I bring my dog's bed? > Yes, you're more than welcome to bring a bed for your dog. However, we advise against it. Blankets are a better option. WHY? Because even if its not characteristic of the dog, there is a possibility that they'll chew it up due to being out of their element and comfort zone. - Where do the dogs play? > We have 5 separate turnouts that are safe and secure with 5 ft net fencing where dogs can be dogs. *Sometimes the turnouts can get quite wet with our crazy Texas weather, which sometimes results in your pet getting a bit dirty during his/her stay. If this is a concern, we can provide a basic bath ($15-$25) the day of or day before departure. Please provide sufficient notice.
